CATEGORY 2: What We clean

We handle trauma scenes, unattended deaths, vehicle decontamination, encampments, and more. This section outlines what qualifies as a biohazard and how our certified team restores safety and dignity to affected spaces.

A biohazard is any biological substance—like blood, bodily fluids, feces, or drug residue—that can pose a serious health risk to people.

Biohazards can carry pathogens such as HIV, hepatitis, MRSA, and other infectious diseases. Common examples include blood from a trauma scene, decomposed remains, human waste, animal waste, or contaminated sharps. These substances require specialized handling under OSHA and California hazardous waste regulations. Forensiclean is certified to safely remove and dispose of biohazards in homes, businesses, vehicles, and public areas. Read more about how we got here.

Trauma scene cleanup involves the safe removal of blood, fluids, and biohazards after a death or violent incident.

This isn’t janitorial cleaning—it’s a regulated service that restores safety and dignity to contaminated environments using OSHA/EPA-approved methods.  See Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup

Trauma cleanup uses EPA-registered disinfectants, hazmat protocols, and licensed disposal.

This is regulated work involving biohazards—not routine cleaning. Specialized gear, training, and documentation are required.  See Sharps Removal and Medical Waste

Yes. These scenes require certified cleanup to handle decomposition and contamination.

We approach these scenes with compassion and care. Our team is discreet, trauma-informed, and OSHA-trained.  See Unattended Death or Delayed Discovery

Yes. We clean and disinfect personal and fleet vehicles impacted by trauma, drugs, or human waste.

We perform full interior decontamination, odor removal, and documentation for insurance or fleet records.  See Vehicle Decontamination

Yes. Forensiclean uses commercial-grade odor neutralization and decontamination protocols to eliminate biohazard-related odors at the source.

We don’t just mask smells—we remove the biological cause through deep cleaning, ozone or hydroxyl treatment, and material disposal if needed. That said, smell memory is powerful, especially after trauma. It’s not uncommon for survivors to continue sensing an odor that’s no longer present—this is known as olfactory hallucination and can be part of the brain’s trauma response. We’re here to help with both the physical cleanup and the emotional reality of recovery.  See Human Waste and Bodily Fluid

Yes. We provide encampment remediation and hazardous material removal for private and public land.

These sites often contain sharps, drug residue, human waste, and structural damage. We comply with city, county, and health codes. See Illegal Dumping

Yes. Forensiclean provides certified biohazard remediation for commercial, industrial, and government facilities across California.

We work with property managers, office supervisors, facility teams, and public agencies to remediate trauma scenes, sharps exposure, bodily fluids, drug contamination, and other biohazards in commercial or government spaces. We also hold federal contracting credentials and are experienced in working with city, county, and state entities. See Government Partnerships and Commercial Properties

Whether the event occurred indoors or outside, we ensure the area is safe, sanitized, and handled according to legal standards. See Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup

Yes. We provide certified deep cleaning and disinfection after trauma, medical events, or infectious disease exposure throughout California.

This includes blood or biohazard removal, sanitation after illness or injury, and odor remediation. We’re often called in after paramedic response, self-harm incidents, or hospital discharges where contamination may be present. Our process goes far beyond surface cleaning—we restore the space to a safe, livable condition using EPA-registered disinfectants and OSHA-compliant protocols.  See Deep Cleaning Services

Our crews follow stormwater compliance protocols and take care to protect natural ecosystems while restoring public safety. See Environmental Restoration

CATEGORY 4: Residential AND Commercial Property

What is you don't own the affected property? Who pays for cleanup after an eviction? This section covers practical concerns for tenants, landlords, and property managers.

Yes. We fully disinfect and remediate biohazards so that spaces are safe for reentry, including by children, elderly residents, or immunocompromised individuals.

We go beyond visual cleaning—using EPA-registered disinfectants, odor neutralization, and biohazard disposal protocols that meet or exceed OSHA standards. If porous materials (like carpet or drywall) are contaminated, we’ll recommend removal to ensure no lingering risk. A certificate of remediation is available upon request.  See Human Waste and Bodily Fluids

Often, yes. Tenants, family members, and neighbors may initiate cleanup depending on the situation.

If you’re unsure, we’ll help you understand your rights and responsibilities. We often coordinate with landlords, insurers, or public health officials. See Commercial Services

Yes. We perform hazardous move-out, eviction, and turnover cleanups.

Our work meets inspection standards and can include odor mitigation, biohazard cleanup, and documentation for landlords. See Bulk Household Waste and Trash

Yes. Landlords must maintain safe, habitable conditions per OSHA and California Housing Code ([Health & Safety Code § 17920.3])

Cleanup after trauma or contamination should always be handled by certified professionals. We provide documentation to help landlords stay in compliance. See Commercial Properties

Yes. In California, improper disposal of biohazardous or medical waste can result in severe civil and criminal penalties.

Property owners who attempt to handle biohazard cleanup without proper licensing can face fines of up to $70,000 per violation, per day for serious hazardous waste infractions (see [Cal. Health & Safety Code § 25189.5]). Lesser violations may still carry daily penalties and, in some cases, criminal charges, including imprisonment and fines of up to $25,000 per day. Improper handling of medical waste also violates state disposal standards and can trigger enforcement actions.

To protect your health, legal standing, and peace of mind, always use certified professionals. Forensiclean ensures full compliance with California’s Hazardous Waste Control Law and the Medical Waste Management Act. See Biohazard and Blood
